Okay, I think I told everyone from the beginning (or maybe I didn't), I was inspired by my brother to create this blog. He has had his for over 2 years now. He's announce the birth of his son, shared his "beliefs" on so many things. But the jest of his blog is politics. Lately he's been on a break from posting. He's been uninspired in that arena, so why even say anything, which I thought was interesting.
But...
The other day he announced that he had voted against someone again. Isn't that a great choice of words. Not for, but against. He said that he hadn't found someone that made him want to run out and vote. He wound up voting for Obama in the primaries.
I tell you all this to tell you about a great video from youtube that is very inspiring for me....yes very inspiring. I had decided to vote for Obama before reading his post, but this video is awesomely made and well I loved it. Maybe it made me cry alittle, but I cannot confirm nor deny that.
BUT....
This all goes back to my post on MLK day. Wouldn't it be great to see Obama bring us all together? Can he? I don't know and I can't be fooled into believing that he can, but I'm hoping, and optomistic. I know that's a "dream," but I've learned in my 30'something years that dreams do come true. I know that is not everyone's dream, but I bought into it when I was in elementary school through high school. AND I'm continuing to dream by instilling into my children that dream.
